i heart stamps
I really really love my set of alphabet stamps and i would love to collect some others, like this.
Spray tan... the quickest diet plan
I love a spray tan, especially because we have a friend who comes to your home and sprays you there, she even has a pop-up shower type thing, which you jump into while she sprays. no mess, no fuss! One somehow feels about 5kg thinner after a spray tan! RESULT!
Just hope we don't end up like this pic!

Yum!
I hope you come up with some delicious new fillings. I am getting a little tired of my old tried and trusted ones. Let me know!
Quiche without crust or fuss
Filling 1: Caramelised onions and blue cheese:
- Slice two large white onions thinly and fry slowly for a long time in a little oil stirring often
- Once they are soft (10 minutes or so), add some sugar – a pinch or a dash of balsamic vinegar for taste and colour
- Add to pie dish with broken up pieces of your favourite blue cheese (about 200g)
OR
Filling 2: Sunday night tomatoes and basil (The tomatoes will need to be made in advance and are a lovely thing to have in your fridge. We eat them as snacks on crackers, on sandwiches and in pasta sauces or as an ingredient to this quiche.)
- Cut a punnet of cherry or Romanita tomatoes in half.
- Sprinkle with a lot of salt and pepper, a little olive oil and a pinch of sugar (add herbs if you like)
- Put in the oven at 180 degrees and cook for about 45 minutes. Then turn oven off and leave them in until oven is completely cool. Refrigerate.
- Add some of your SN Tomatoes and about 10 torn up basil leaves to a pie dish
To either filling add 250g grated cheddar cheese.
Then mix together:
2 heaped tablespoons of self raising flour.
4 eggs
150ml milk
1 teaspoon mustard
Salt, pepper and some grated nutmeg
Pour this mix over the filling of your choice, bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes or until set and brown on top.
Serve warm or cold.

some inspiration from the laziness of others
OK, so first off, I like the title of this post for my first book. Just kidding!
I have been watching some new blogs lately and am comforted by the fact that many bloggers do not feel they need to blog everyday. Some really lovely blogs (and it would be wrong to point them out here) only have a post or two a week.
I keep feeling that if I am not doing it everyday, I should just give up. But I am thinking of thinking of changing my mind.

Teefury teefury, why do you tempt me so?
teefury is having their grab bag day today. On a random day once about every 1/4 they sell their usually cheap and always awesome shirts for $6 each but you get whatever you get. I love it and got some great ones last time.
The strange thing is one is excited by the idea of not knowing what's in the post but at the same time want the security of knowing it will be one of your favourites. I wish I had bought "Apple Pi" ... maybe I will be lucky and it will arrive in my grab bag! AArrggh! Can't upload the pic, anyway, go and check it out.
Good luck if you grab a grab bag!

hello pinky
my awesome sister is getting married on 1 April and I am one of the lucky ladies who gets to stand by her side. She has very cool-ly said that the bridesmaids can choose any pink dress they like. I have dyed a dress that I loved but was a rubbishy peach colour and it came out great, so my outfit is probably sorted, but I have been trawling the net looking at some beautiful dresses anyway... well, cos I can.
Here are my top 5:
crazy beautiful right? Crazy expensive, over $1000. Moving swiftly along.
